Gesture-controlled system that connects all your gadgets to turn you house into a ‘smart home’.
Sydney-based company has developed unified smart home device called Ninja Sphere that links different appliances in a home and controls them all via Central hub called a ‘Spheramid’ this then allows users to controll gadgetsin home via smart phone or gesture.
‘Spheramid’ Uses a variety of external sensors to connect to gadgets and allow users to change the environment in their home. It can change the temperature or turn lights on and off, or locate pets, wallets, keys and more around a house using tags.
Around the house the user then needs to place contact, motion and temperature sensors supplied by the company, known as ‘Smart Sockets’. Tiny devices known as a Waypoints are also needed to be placed around the house, which then allows the Ninja Sphere to locate things.
Your Ninja Sphere learns about you, and your environment, it uses data from sensors and actuators to build a model that can inform you if something is out of place.’ By using data from your devices, environment, and location your sphere is able to advise you intelligently and give you control only when you need it.’
