This Skincare Device Called ‘Way’ Is Like Having a Pocket Dermatologist That Can Analyze Your Skin In Three Seconds

The Pocket Dermatologist
Way helps you to take care of your skin daily. This portable object allows you to monitor the health of your skin. Way has sensors that analyze the state of your skin in 3 seconds and helps prevent diseases such as skin cancer. Way retrieves data on the pigments in the skin, fat, water, wrinkles and compiles, using its mobile application, weather and pollution data to get out detailed and custom graphics. With this information, Way advises and recommends the user the appropriate cosmetic products.

By just touching your cheek for three Mississippi-seconds long with the device, the UV Index, humidity sensors, and Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) sensor creates a comprehensive analysis of your skin’s health along with any recommendations for your skin. The BIA sensor reads the moisture and oil content levels of your skin while the UV Index and humidity sensors read your environmental setting. After analyzing your environment, it can then accurately advise you to remoisturize or to apply sunscreen by popping up little notifications on your phone.

We’re constantly suffocating our faces with makeup on the daily and even though we’re exfoliating and rehydrating with masks, let’s face it (pun intended), there is probably so much about our skin that we don’t know. That’s where Way comes in. It’s kinda like a pocket dermatologist that wirelessly pairs to your smartphone via Bluetooth and the companion app.
