Thimble Bioelectronics, a California-based company that focuses on developing digital pain management products, announced on this week that it is working on a wearable pain relief patch. Similar in look, size and shape to an ordinary band-aid; the product is based on Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS), a type of therapy that uses low-voltage electrical current for pain relief.
Just place it where it hurts. The optimal waveform, amplitude, and modulation pattern settings are automatically calibrated by our smart biosensors.
CUR delivers high frequency impulses to block pain signals directy.
Device is free of wires or bulky batteries, making it easy use throughout the day. It’s durable, discreet, and can last six hours without a charge.
Designed by biomedical engineer Shaun Rahimi, this ingenious little patch provides instant, on-demand pain relief at the push of a button
Technique involves delivering small (and painless) electrical pulses to your nerves via electrodes placed on your skin. These pulses are designed to confuse your nerves and cancel out the pain signal they’re sending to your brain — thereby providing instant pain relief to the area of the body on which the electrodes are placed.
