LEO is a band for one’s thigh (designed for comfort and durability) that measures a multitude of reactions in one’s body through electromyography (EMG). According to the company, EMG measures muscle response or electrical activity in response to a nerve’s stimulation of the muscle. These measurable responses are what make LEO unique.
INTELLIGENT TRACKING
LEO monitors your bio-signals to give you a deeper level of insight than any other fitness wearable.
INTELLIGENT FEEDBACK
LEO translates complex information from your body into simple and actionable recommendations, and notifies you when something is amiss.
Leo employs Fitness Intelligence which is made up of three components: Intelligent Sensing, Intelligent Feedback and Learning System. Intelligent sensing is the measurements of the electrical activity in one’s fibers. The data is leveraged to produce actionable recommendations—simple suggestions to prevent injury or dehydration. The third and final component, the Learning System, feeds off of the amount of LEO users. The higher amount of users results in more data. For instance, a common injury to runners is shin splints. If 10,000 runners wear LEO, the common factors attributed to shin splints are gathered from the data, which leads to more intelligent feedback—LEO suggesting that you are running with too much weight on the front of your feet, and that is a common cause of shin splints.
Whether you’re an elite athlete, or just starting out, LEO gives you the knowledge you need to improve and stay healthy while maintaining an active lifestyle.
LEO LEARNS
LEO adapts to your unique physiology, and spots patterns in the wider community, building greater insight.
