AirSonea – a revolutionary, asthma monitoring device that will sync with smart phones to enable anyone, anywhere at any time to conveniently monitor their wheezing symptoms and better manage the condition.
AirSonea, the world’s first digital device for monitoring wheeze, takes the stress out of asthma management. AirSonea turns your smartphone into a portable asthma monitor. Teamed with the AsthmaSense App it can detect and measure wheeze while factoring in your personal environmental triggers.
AirSonea provides asthma sufferers with a portable, user-friendly way of controlling asthma. It’s a little peace of mind in your pocket.
Using breakthrough technology developed by leading respiratory specialists, AirSonea®is a ‘digital stethoscope’ and smartphone app that accurately records breath sounds to detect and measure wheeze. Wheezing results from a narrowing of the airways and typically indicates some difficulty breathing.*
Convenient and easy to use, the AirSonea sensor is held at the trachea (windpipe) during 30 seconds of normal breathing. The app records and analyses the breathing sounds and returns a WheezeRATE™, a measurement of the extent of wheezing over the duration.
WheezeRATE history is stored in the smartphone and synced to the Cloud for review and secure sharing with family and healthcare professionals.
Sharing this objective data with your doctor or other healthcare professionals can help in the evaluation of WheezeRATE trends.
Self-monitoring with AirSonea eliminates the guesswork and increases awareness and knowledge of how wheezing affects your overall feeling of wellness.
Charge your AirSonea by inserting the USB cable provided into the USB port at the bottom of the device. Red LED turns off when fully charged. Charging can take up to 4 hours. Sensor head should be closed.
