Romo is a iphone app. that once setup on the rolling base becomes a robot that can be trained to explore, interact and function. To unleash Romo’s potential, it needs kids to train him to explore and navigate .
Romos allows to play games together, take pictures, It learns from each other robots across the world and it can be controlled from anywhere in the world.
Romo can be used for Telepresence, you can be live with your grand parents halfway across the world and intact as if you are present in the room with them.
When you first start the Romo app and dock your iOS device onto the roving base, Romo will tell you about where he came from through an animated video and introductory sequence. He will also ask you to name him and ask for your name.
Once Romo has introduced himself, he will allow you to play with missions, wirelessly drive him from another iOS device on the same Wi-Fi network, or remote control him over the Internet using the Telepresence feature.
You can teach him to drive through the missions, unlock games to play with it and new design new actions to use by programming it.
