Based on the same core technologies of infrared and ultrasound, the Smartmarker–unlike the eBeam products designed for use with interactive displays and projectors–has been built ground-up for mobility. The product is easy to tote around, it supports mobile apps out of the box, and both the sensor that sits on the board and the pen sleeve are wireless.
The sensor sends information via Bluetooth to a phone with running the company’s mobile app which can then stream it to other local or remote viewers.Unlike the SMARTkapp, the Smartmarker works with standard markers. And also unlike the SMARTkapp, which requires a subscription plan for sharing with larger groups, colleagues can even collaborate to the digital scribbling in real time.
